Maine’s YLAT is a dynamic group of young people from foster care and adult partners who are working to improve outcomes for all youth in foster care by improving the child welfare system and creating resources for youth.   In 2008 YLAT was a finalist in the Innovations in American Government Awards vying for the Annie E. Casey Innovations Award in Child and Family Systems Reform.
