Thank you to all who joined us on June 29th, 2016 to connect, learn & have fun at Thomas College in Waterville, Maine!

The 26th Annual Teen Conference for youth in Maine’s Child Welfare System and the adults who care for them was held on June 29, 2016, at Thomas College. One-hundred-forty individuals attended this year’s conference, themed “#FosterStrong”. Our keynote speaker, George Duvall shared his experience of navigating the system with passion and was filled with positive encouragement, emotion, education and of course, humor. Young people who attended the conference stated that they had the opportunity to learn that leadership skills, that their voice is important and that they are not alone.
